66 mustang
Hello.
In 66 the only cars that did not have the quarter oraments were the fastbacks and cars that had stripes, like with the GT package. The only non-fastback 6cyl cars that would not have had the quarter ornament would be the ones that came with the Sprint package, which had a pin stripe that ran basically the same way as the 68 C stripe. You could also order a quarter ornament/delete and get a credit from the price of the car.
As far as options go, you could get any option with a 6cyl that you could with a V8, such as power steering, A/C, power drum brakes, rally pac, etc.... You could even get a 4 speed manual transmission. It wasn't the top loader, though. It was the Dagenham, which was nearly as flimsy as the 3 speed manual for the 6cyls. The only options that were unavailable would be performance oriented options, like the GT package.Hope that helps.
