All coupes and convertables came with the side vent emblems . The fastbacks did not.

Hello. In 66 the only cars that did not have the quarter oraments were the fastbacks and cars that had stripes, like with the GT package. The only non-fastback 6cyl cars that would not have had the quarter ornament would be the ones that came with the Sprint package, which had a pin stripe that ran basically the same way as the 68 C stripe. You could also order a quarter ornament/delete and get a credit from the price of the car.
As far as options go, you could get any option with a 6cyl that you could with a V8, such as power steering, A/C, power drum brakes, rally pac, etc.... You could even get a 4 speed manual transmission. It wasn't the top loader, though. It was the Dagenham, which was nearly as flimsy as the 3 speed manual for the 6cyls. The only options that were unavailable would be performance oriented options, like the GT package.Hope that helps.

There was also a 'C' stripe stand alone option that deleted the quarter panel moldings. Back then Ford would 'make it your way'.
