haha well im 17 and would have probably done the same thing because im poor right now. thats what i did with my paint...its just a temporary thing until i can afford to have it bead blasted and painted the right way. the fiberglass thing just kind of scared me because it reminded me of something i saw on Muscle Car once. im not sure if you saw it but it was a 66 fastback that had the floors replaced with fiberglass and hepretty much just peeled them off.

Your 17 Ahh that would explain the ninja. I never did figure that out till now.
I just wrote a long post explaining the properties of fiberglass, and the mistakes of the fastback 66 on MC, and a proper method for application. Then when I posted it, it was erased AndI do not feel like retyping that whole thing.
And Mat, if you hit bare flat metal with a hammer as hard as I did you would dent it badly.

haha well actually someone else made that for me...i suck at computers. so you saw the episode i was talking about? that was BAD. as long as you know how to do it so it is sturdy enough. i know fiberglass can be really strong, we have a boat and that thing is solid, theres pretty much no way you could break that stuff.

The main thing they did wrong on that was not coating both sides of the fiberglass and not have a clean floor. I also build boats and race boats so, yeah I used the good stuff that will stick.
Good luck with your bead blasting too, no one around heredoes that.
