351C 2V
Yes it is a clevland the radiator hose goes to the block. I will be pulling the motor to rebuild put new cam intake and such. Is there any good books about the clevland.
The vin saies the car origionally came with a 351 2V engine.
Lets see if these pics work i might have resized the where they look funny but you get the idea

Go with the 1 wire alternators http://www.powermastermotorsports.co...rly_style.htmlor one off of a mid 80's car.
Yep, Thats a Cleavland. And at the risk of an argument it could be original to the car. In late model yearproduction some 351C go put in when there wasn't a 351W available. I happen to have one myself
. My uncle bought the car in 1969 new, gave it to my cousin in 1981, he dog'ed it for a few months, riped the transmission out of it and parked it for a few years. I bought it, fixed it drove it and am now restoring it, and yes, it is a original 1969 Mach 1 with a 351C.
Good luck and have fun, and by the way, dont get into a hurry.

I see you figured out how to post pics on here. There are several different kinds of pictures we can post on here. Here's how.
