Default back lighting issue

whats up folks! new to the site. I tryed to search this for two days I am hoping that one of you guys can guide me in the right direction. I have a 73 mach 1 and I am having a backlighting issue in the dash I have chased the wires back to the fuse box and I noticed a 20A. fuse missing. the fuse space is marked for accy. I would just put a new fuse in it and call it good but I can't the retainers for the fuse only has one side connected to the ground. where is the other wire supposed to go to? or is there a book or schematic that I can follow? I can jump the wires with a 20A. fuseable link that I got from the auto store but if I cant figure out where to connect the wires to then I am going to need some assistance. You guys are my last hope. If we can't figure this out I am going to be forced to take it to a shop. I don't wanna do that. HELP!!!

We have diagrams/schmatics for up to the 72, but not the 73. I would think they would be very similar though.
