what were the sizes of the valves?

my77stang is right about the size. If you are having a valve job and the valves need replacement you can have 1.94/1.50's installed for almost the same cost.

yep i sure will, for now i was just testing out my simdyno

65 289 heads

w/manifolds






If anyone wants i can run you numbers on it.....not that accurate but i'd say close enough

lol we did this awhile back and i ended up running about 50 sims for people LOL. they arent exact (like you said) but they ARE pretty close.

my valves are 1.85 int and 1.55 exh the guy at the cyl shop thats as big as i should go for a mildly modified application

i stuck with the 1.84 1.54 in my 351w heads because it will help with low end nut. go too big and you loose it in the bottom - but i did extensive machine porting to open things up under the head of the valve.
