Mine lined up fine. Took a little work, but it wasn't bad at all.

 

superdavid. do you have a pic. of your 4 pin corners?

 

If you go with fiberglass go with the metal liner, trust me. Mine was so bowed it took a miracle of god to fix it and then it started to bow again after paint. It has stopped and isn't that bad for glass.

fiberglass only is ment for a race car its light as can be the metal frame ones are stronger. and dont bow once it bows its hard to get straight with out breaking it.

the pins only hold it on the car it will still bow since theres nothing inside of it to stiffen it

 

Look at the hood on my pic ...even though its not a cowl hood its a fiberglass hood without the metal ...notice the bow in the hood
