Which Mufflers?
I am undecided what to do with my exhaust system as I rebuild the car.
The engine and trans are done. It has been warmed up a bit:
289
Holley 600 4bbl
mild towing cam
Original '67 Shelby Intake
Tri-Y headers
The outside of the car will remain bone stock, but I would like a nice tone...rumble.
Thoughts?
Turbos
Flowmasters
Collectors
Stock muffs
Thanks...
If there is a thread on this, maybe you can point me in the right direction. I did a search though, but I might have missed something.

James, I will look into those.
I just saw a write for the MagnaFlows in a new muscle car magazine. They sparked my curiosity.
I find that Mufflers are one of the toughest things to buy. The good thing is that it is usually an inexpensive quick fix.....unless you change them a dozen time, that is.

If I'm not mistaken I'm the only member here that has the Borla exhaust. They are FANTASTIC! Quiet thunder with no raspy quality.A very serious system withoutbeing in-your-face loud.
Watch the movie Vanishing Point to get a close appoximation.
