rod journals: 2.1228-2.1236
main journals: 2.2482-2.2490
of course, if your crank is .010 or .020 you'll have to adjust those specs accordingly.
should have oil clearance: .0005-.0029
thrust journal width: 1.135-1.140
rod bore (big end): 2.2390-2.2398
big end width: .8350
main bore diameter (in the block): 2.4412-2.4420
rod bearing "tangs" towards the inside (piston/rod orentation during assembly, which means the numbers on the rod/cap should face towards the outside)
valve lash adjustment 3/4 turn down from zero
main cap torque: 60-70 lbs.
rod cap torque: 19-24 lbs.
cam bolt torque: 40-45 lbs.
head bolt torque: short bolts 68 lbs. / long bolts 80 lbs.
balancer torque: 70-90 lbs.
flywheel torque: 75-85 lbs. (use sealer on bolts)
intake torque: 23-25 lbs.
exhaust torque: 18-24 lbs.
i pulled all that from a specs program i have (prosis, from the a.e.r.a.), its what we used to build all the motors at our shop so it should be correct
