Default Juke Box on the Cheap

Do you hack the dash and put in an aftermarket stereo or spend beaucoup bucks and get an updated stock lookstereo? My rule of thumb...........NEVER HACK UP ANYTHING. My budget VERY tight.
Solution? Build mini console to fit under dash. I have $10 not counting stereo invested in this little project and the 10 bucks was for the upholsery materials. The rest is 3/16 hardboard, pvc pipe (corners and cupholders) pine wood and an old aluminum parking sign. As you can see, I'm not quite finished with the wiring but I thought I'd share my project.

Ok for the prototype, think about larger diameter and deeper drink holders on Rev 2.

The one I made for my E250 needs a bigger hole for my mugs. It's in the middle ot TTD list.
