Default Water Leak

Hello all,

Newbie signing in and with a question of course...................

Replaced the rear window seal by myself last weekend. What a messy job, but its in there and seems to be leak proof ( time will tell )
Now chasing a small leak up front, passenger side just forward of the passenger door. The water is coming in somewhere between the
front of the door and the front fender ( not a cowl issue as checked carefully and they seem to have been repaired properly previously ).
Anyone got a picture of that area of the car without the front right fender or door fitted so I can see what it might be?

The car is a green 68 Fastback GT 390 I imported to Japan.

Not a cowl issue? There's nothing else it could be unless it is the radio antenna hole. Where in Japan are you? I was at Camp Zama and Yokosuka for several years. You are obviously an American serviceman. Where are you?

Only thing I can think of is possibly the vent window? Maybe the glass isn't sealing properly.

It's not only Mojoe and Thumpin 455 , we have lost a lot of other members over the past year, but we have gained several new members. This site is a constant change in membership. Some like you have an ownership attached to this forum, whereas others do not.

Soaring,

No, it seems not to be a cowl issue. I can stick the hose into the centre cowl section and leave it running and no
water comes in, but when I hold the hose over the front wing near the passenger door I can see water coming in.
I removed the passenger side kick panel and the water is coming down the inside of the body where it then flows horizontal
towards the back of the car and towards the middle of the passenger door ( removed the dress ( name?) panel ) then down onto the carpet..

I am not an American though I ride bikes with many folk from Zama and Yokosuka. We have a motorcycle forum up here. I am an export from Australia with disease called Mustangmania...........and sadly it seem incurable.

Thanks all, for the suggestions. I purchased a weatherstrip kit and will try fit that on the weekend.
