is there any diference btw car and truck manual transmission? i can have rebuild 4 speed with low grany gears from 79 f-250 (was running on 351m.). since i have fmx right nowon my '71 and 400m in it, i want to know, if after removing transfer case this transmission would work on my '71. i know i would have to getcrosmember clutch flywheel get longer shaft etc. just not sure if that would work. can have this trany for free, and always wanted to havestick shift in mustang
