Default 69 firewall

Will the 65-68 firewalls offered through current mustang suppliers work on a 69? If not, what are the differences, and can they be modified to work?

This is just a guess but I bet a 70 firewall would work too 69 and 70 are the same basic car with just a few differences.Best bet would probably be to find a donor car and cut it out.I dont know of anyone who reproduces the firewall for those two years. This guy may be able to help you he has a lot of stuff.

Hope this helps

in the NPD catalogue under the 67/68 firewalls it says "modify heavily for 69/70" so yes it will fit, but only with tons of mods. I don't know how many it means though. So i say go for a junkyard.
