It only makes a small hole going in, but a great big hole coming out. It's a Sig Saur 357 Magnum. I'm off to bed. Night all.

I would recommend that you do. It's not a laughing matter.

What model Sig is that? I didn't know they were made in .357 Magnum, but .357 Sig. My preferred property defense weapon is my AK-47, followed by my autoloading 12 ga shotgun (Remington 1100) loaded with 00. I carry a .45 (Para-Ordinance P14) with me when I travel, though.

Back on topic:
When my Syclone was stolen I made a comment to the officer taking my report to the effect that I would have shot the thieves if I had seen them. He told me that it would have been OK as long as I could prove that I was acting in self defense (of my person, not my property).

I think the best way to go is to have some good insurance. It takes away from the fun of having a cool car if you're always afraid for it.

Besides, exploding thief brains make a hell of a mess on the headliner.

if they get under your hood and jump the relay, yes, it's gonna start, but I thought that's what a hood lock was for, which are also easy to conceal.

I wasn't aware they sold hood locks. If I can do that then that would be better, but not so good if my engine catches on fire and I have to open the hood real fast to extinguish it. Unless only locked when I feel the need for it to be.

Its not that I'm scared that it will be stolen, I live in a good neighborhood, and my school is well patroled and in a great area as well (on college campus in its own section). But I would not want it to be stolen and me be like "if only I put ____ on it it could have been prevented" But if they truly want it they will get it.

And about the gun, I'm only 16 so I don't think its in my best interest to know a lot about them and carry one. But thats all beside the point.

hood locks are hood pins but insted of a pin its a barrel lock like whats on a soft drink vending machine hard to pick.the repole tow truck i use to drive had the controls in the cab i could grab and pick up a car and drive off under 30 sec thats why i say good insurance if they want it bad enough theres always a way. soaring i always have a snub nose s&w on my ankle i have a concealed gun premit just hope i dont get to the car or truck youll met mr 12 gauge. its a aow the shortest 12 gauge made it only holds 4 shells but thats all i need.
