EDIT:
lert: Possible California or High Country SpecialThis VIN indicates it may be a California or High Country Special. Additional review of the car and it's build sheet may be required to verify this package. The California Special and High Country Special cars were appearance packages, and had no special performance upgrades over the base Mustang, although any engine option was possible for the package, including the 390 CID engine.

from www.decodethis.com

does it just say that so i can buy the report or is it really taht?

Use the Marti link. Kevin Marti bought the Ford assembly data base and has the best info available.

since its a 67 its a high country the california special was 68 only and the high country is worth more. you have any pictures of it and what did you pay for it.

I was told that both doors on mine were replaced, but somehow the info on the data plate on the D/S door managed to match the car all the way down. The only thing that didn't match was the tranny (C4 installed vs. 3 speed manual on data plate).

I'm not surprised to find this info tho cause the PO had a different story on the history of this car almost every time I asked. Maybe I shoulda shelled out the extra 500 and gotten the 'Cuda instead. [&:]
