Tail/Brake Light Safety Upgrade
I just installed the halogen 1157's and new lens on my '65. (NPD claims the lens is manufactured to take the higher heat of the halogens.)
They are definitely brighter and safer than my old 1157's and clouded lens.
I'm tempted to try them in the front turn signal lights, but I'm not sure the orange lens will take the extra halogen heat.
Anyone use halogens in the turn signals with stock lens?

If you want another trick to improve the taillights, get some aluminum tape, you know the stuff that is actual aluminum about 1.5" wide with adhesive on the back. Put it in the inside of the light housings and then polish it. The reflection will double or triple the light output.
