turn signals

when I have the lights on in my 65 the left signals work fine but when you try the right they go on but dont blink. brand new motorcraft headlight switch and rear tailight harness what could the problem be

checked the bulbs?
checked your grounds on the right?

How about the front, does that go on. Sometimes a non flash means that you have a blown globe. ie non flash at rear can mean blown front.

Ive checked the grounds and the bulbs and traced the wires directly to the steering column could the turn signal switch be at fault

Does the signal switch click slow,fast not at all? Sounds like it.

I have similar problems, I got a new wiring harness from Mustang plus for about $30. I havent had time to install it yet though, but I am hoping it will fix my gremlins.

Same here. Purchased one this morning for $28 from NPD. this was one of the few harnesses that didnt com with my painless system. Hopefully this will fix the problem.
