There is a killer deal on a Magnaflow 2 1/2in Stainless exhaust system w/X pipe(this is what I'm using) The system has turn down tips,and is intended for long tube headers, I put my own tips on, & have short manifolds.
$348 delivered http://www.performancepeddler.com/use the code ebayrocks, If you speak to some one let them know you got the referal from the MF forum. The forum wont get any thing for it, but you recieve the discount by being a forum member. This has been running for quite a while(got mine last August), but last I heard was still in effect. Check this against Summit or Jegs, and I dont know of anyone who's been unhappy with these.(3 other forums have members use these)

I do not work for, or recieve any renumeration from performancepeddler, or Magnaflow

mr classic EFI, how much work was it to adapt that kit to the manifolds rather than the headers? did you just insert a piece of pipe on each side?

Local Muffler shop charged $60 for the installation, as the kit does have all mounts & clampsneeded.They used off the shelf tubing to connect with, wasnt even stainless, because it was a temporary hook up I wasnt concerned. When I get my JBA's on I'll have them use stainless to match the rest of the system.

Yes, no header required now. Thats how I am now.

Sound is a very subjective personal taste.
For me;
Flowmasters aretoo loud & raspy- tend to drone at hwy RPM
Dynomax is verrrry mellow w/some bark at WOT
The Magnaflows are mellow at low RPM, but gain authority as RPM's climb, Big bark at WOT, No Drone.

Your mileage may vary

Up in the FAQs, there a section on exhausts and has some sound clips from the various types.

I have Magnaflows too... and as a point of reference, I bought just the mufflers and had a muffler shop install with aluminized piping... it ended up costing me more than how Corky described.

that's a good deal.
