I was wondering , What kind of gears can you slap into a 4 lug rear from a 66 straight 6?

 

without changing up to an 8 or 9 or 8.8"?

 

yeah without changing the rear to an 8 ..

just keeping the stock rear ..

is there any mods for that ?

 

If you plan on selling it, why would you want to change the gears? Seems like you'd want to leave it stock. I doubt you could recoup the cost of the parts and installation in the selling prices.

Well my plan is to sell it , But i havent gotten much interest in it lately .

Im kinda disappointed because i live in southern california the market is expensive .

But i was just wondering about those gears .

Its just a thought that came to mind because I remember reading that someone had a blast with changing the gears keeping the straight 6 ..

But its unlikely to happen .

I have a long project in mind , And for that sir i will need your help JamesW .

I plan on going EFI with my next project .

So expect to hear from me in the next year or so .
