What's nice about it is that it is so easy to touch up.

[align=left]I scuffed my old paint and then sprayed it with the acid solution before applying the bedliner. I would go through the same process of using paint if I were you. I would use the primer for a base if you have bare metal. I did paint over some bare metal myself. I guess we will see what it does.

Do you apply it to bare steel or should you prime it first?

You know what? I guess I was bored today so I took as much as I could out of the engine bay, excepted for the engine and the brakes booster and cylinder - I am going to clean it up and tomorrow I will try to coat it with the same product ... this is on my coupe, I want to take the 'easy' road - for my FB I will then be able to decide which product I want to use ... I will upload some pictures as well

I think it looks good, it's a great idea for a driver. Durable and repairable. Probably easy to clean. Maybe your wrenches wont slide around when you work on it either!

[align=left]Practice your technique before doing the engine comp. Use a piece of plywood to spray and experiment with the nozzle distance. It makes a big difference. The further you hold the can back the more texture you will have. Don't spray in one spot for too long. Please post pics when you are finished. Once again, it is so darned easy to touch this stuff up and make it look just like it did when you first applied the stuff.
