cowl vent for air supply inside car and heater and defroster if you want them to work properly. Unles you only drive it in the summertime.

im basicly thowing my 65 away, the cowl vent infront of the window is good and solid, one of the few pieces not messed up, if you take some measurments i could cut that piece out and send it to you. if thats the piece your talking about and ifthey would match up and if you think it would work. im not too good at body work so im not sure if it would or not.

What are the plastic cowl covers? Where can I get one for my 73 Mustange Grande?
Almost all of the mustang parts companies sell them, and all are about $30.

i dont think they make them for a 73 but look anyways i could be wrong.restomod66 the factory set up does most aftermarket reuses the air inside the car and works fine. i drove my 68 all last winter in kentucky even in snow my vintage air heat/ac unit worked just fine i wasnt cold or had fogged up windows.

On the 73 doesn't the grill part come off. If so pull the grill off get some tin cut peices to cover cowl opening, take some gasket maker on them and sheet metal screw in.- that's what I did with my 1970 until I can get around to doing it right.

I found the pics of my cowl as I was smoothing over. Sory for the bad pics but my scanner died so I had to use my digital to take a pic of a pic.
