Nice! Thats exacly what I wanna do. Right now I have 2 Audiobahn 12's in my trunk with a 1000 watt amp bolted to the back of the box. They also face outwards and kick freakin hard.

Jesus H Christ Waffles. I mean like these cars are not the damn big. Do not worry though. I am sure with that much thump you will keep the girls happy. Damn.
Its only one sub, with a mediocre amp. It sounds nice, fits perfect. The center one is the sub. The other two are just speakers to help with the sound. It really isnt much, the double 8s in my TRUCK sound louder. It has an excellent sound quality to it, and like I said, EASILY removed, and very clean looking. I just pulled it cause my car is on ebay and I'm not including it, and i don't have pics of it installed, but it looked excellent.

Have you been waiting for the right way to add meaningful, high-quality bass to your truck or SUV? Wait no longer! The Infinity BassLink T takes the features that have made the BassLink such an incredible performer, and puts them in a rigid polymer enclosure that'll fit neatly in most SUVs, trucks, or hatchbacks. At less than 15" high and 7" deep, this compact amplified subwoofer takes up minimal cargo space!
Fire up the built-in 250-watt Class D amplifier, and check out the rich, powerful bass produced by the 10" subwoofer in tandem with two 10" passive radiators — it's sure to make your music sound massive. Read more

Here is what I have in my trunk. It gives a nice sound and the bass can kick in when adjusted right. I know it is old school but it still rocks!!!!!

I went through my amp an bass faze, but then decided that when I do my sound system in the mustang I'll stick to the two 6x9's and the two 5"ers in the front. It should be fine for me, I don't like crazy bass too much anyway. Also my mach's trunk isn't too big at all
