Default TURN SIGNALS

First when the head lights are off the left signals work great but when you turn the right on both signals blink. When the head lights are on the left is great when the right is on it dosent blink but the tail lamp illumates brighter and the light stays on in the dash. I already put a brand new tail light harness, Turn signal switch, Headlight switch, flasher, head light harness, new front parking lights all grounds on head lights and tailights perfect. any help at all would be greatly appreciated. 65 mustang

Do you have Hazard lights? If so, did you replace that flasher? I would opt for solid state flasher units as these are not resistance sensitive. One bulb burning brighter means one of two things, there is a bad ground or it is running (shorted) thru another circut causing the light to be dimmer on that side. Anyway if you use a solid state flasher its much easier to eliminate the problems. The last possibility is it may be wired wrong. I have noticed that they seem to be a couple of different color codes for the same year. Its best to record all the circuts before you start a re-wire.
