Definitely. It's a very easy bolt-on and will improve throttle response and power.

IMO, usually you would want to replace the carb & manifold and install headers at the same time. But there's no reason you can't do just the carb and manifold. Headers overall have the best bang for the buck for bolt on equipment and can go on with out a carb change.

Thanks again guys I was'nt sure if a 4brlintake and 4brl carb swap alone would be too much fuel wasted and not much power gained in a stock 2brl intake 2brl carbengine without getting involved with having heads redone and cam replaced.

The 4V swap itself is well worth the time/effort, even with untouched heads/cam/exhaust.
