Ford 8.8" Width between wheel mounting surfaces
59.75" Pinion offset to right of center
2-3/16" Pinion length, tube center to U-joint center
11-5/8" Pinion height, U-joint center below tube center
1-7/8" Diff cover distance behind tube center
4-3/4" Bottom of diff housing below tube center
5-7/8" Disc brake rotors
11.25 x 7/16" Drum brake shoes
7.25 x 1.25" (e-brake) Distance between spring perches (o/c)
39-1/4" Tube diameter
3.25" (neck down to 2.75") Axle shaft diameter
1.31" 31-spline Clearance under diff w/33x9.50 BFG MT's
9-3/8" Shock eye below tube bottom

could someone give me a confermation between these two, im looking at putting an explorer rear in the 67, so i would like to make sure this info is correct.

I don't know enough specs to be of much help, but I can say that an offset pinion will cause issues with many aftermarket exhaust systems,,, the exhaust on my son's 66 is pretty damn close to the driveshaft.
This issue could be overcome easily enough, but you should be aware of this possible complication....
Which brings to mind that an offset pinion will not fit into the driveshaft tunnel at the rear anyway, not so easy to overcome...

ok, well i aint bagning any metal on my stang, so ill just have a local shop build me one.
If anyone has the length of the axle ****, let me knwo, im tired of looking through countless webpages with useless info on the lengths of those.
