Theres a weird buzzing sound comming from the engine, a 351 cleveland 2bb,when i turn the key. It sounded like the starter so i rebuilt it and put in a bigger battery 660 cold cranking amps(cca). It still makes the same sound and won't turn over. The crank is free and i can turn it over a little bit. Its been sitting for 10 year and only has 20,000 miles on it. I just bought it off a neighbor and just started working on it. Can someone explain why my engine won't turn over?

 

Sounds like a bad solenoid.

 

check to see if your battery connections and the ground on the engine are clean. if not then take a wire brush to em and put em back on.
