302 sound?
Your calling a 427 (FEEngine)a "truck" engine? Hmmm....didnt know shelby made trucks.
Well, back to the original question, i have a 72 with a 302, headman long tubes and flowmaster both sound fine and if you really are just lookng sound, they make electronic cut-outs that dump right behind your headers with the flip of a switch, which is nice.
I think we are missing a key part here.
First we need to define what shaking the ground is:
Is it this (302 with AFR head, aftermarket cam, aftermarket intake, 2.25 dual pipes unknown muffler &h pipe):

Or is it this (302 with stock [i think] heads, aftermarket cam/intake 2.25 dual pipes unknown muffler & h pipe):

Or is it this (410 with alot of stuff and 3 inch dual pipes flowmaster 40s & X pipe):

All three cars here are street cars that get decent fuel mileage and are routinely driven for hundreds of miles. If you don't need a street car you can easily make a car obnoxiousjust loose the mufflers and run 4 inch pipes out the back. You will also then loose power if you haven't built the motor to run in that configuration
but that isn't what your post is about is it. Put 2.25 inch pipes and cherry bombs and you will rattle dirt....I mean make the ground quiver at your approach.
Of course if you really want a car that says "don't mess with me" you spend all your time building the motor, suspension, driveline, etc and the exhaust note just comes along for the ride. I didn't care what my car sounded like when I built it and quite frankly I still don't really care what it sounds like...sure it sounds mean, but it could mean in 100 different ways. I'm not into tuning enhaust notes to make a statement I am into tuning motors because you can't hear the other guy's exhaust when you are looking at his headlights in your mirror.

I still think it's hilarious this kid is asking the same question as he did a week ago, denied it, admitted it, and still won't accept the given advice.
Want to shake the ground?
--------------------------
Step 1: Remove exhaust
Step 2: Start car.
