Coupes?
ORIGINAL: restomod66
I also like all of the late 60's early 70's models. My goal is to have one car of each type from a different year. So far I have a 1965 fastback being restored and a 1966 coupe in very good shape. Now all I need to find is a decent vert and i will have each model type of these great cars!!! YYYEEEAAAASSSSAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

It is expensive if you buy them totally restored but if you have family that does it for a living then it is not that bad. These cars are an investment that should get you back what you paid for them less the labor of course. As time goes by these cars values goes up!!
I love my sportroof. I think the 69 is most agressive of the mustangs, but the previous years definitely have the "classy" look and can still look bad *** depending on how its done. However I'm not sure if I agree that coupes are more agressive looking than fastbacks... it all depends on how the car is done.
I prefer the '65-'66 for fastbacks and the '67-'68 for coupes.
The roofline of the early coupes is a little too formal, it's almost level as it goes back. The fastback roof starts dropping off almost at the windshield, and I like that "bubble" look.
The '67-'68 coupes, if they are set up right look mean.
As a disclaimer I will also say they're all good.
