Default turn signal help

Just got a new turn signal switch (no tilt)for my 68 coupe. The original has 10 wires, the new has 12? the two extra wires are brown and black w/yello stripe. i check the shop manual and cant figuar out where they go. I assume for some sort of accecery but not sure.I have reaced all the wires from the new to old and all is in the right place except these two.the two wires termenate above each other inside the cam on the assy. BTW the switch is from scott drake
Thanks for any assistance.

Dont know, stearing column is still torn apart it will be a few weeks before i install. I did check with a better parts vender and they say there will be a few extra wires left over ir the car dose not have cruse control. Just want to confirm this.
Thanks

That makes sense to me. Parts makers try to find commonalities so that one part can fit multiple applications. Either clip them or wind them up out of the way (if that's even possible).

Probably a universal fit part. some of the late 60-thru 70's cars had cornering lights that were powered thru the TS switch. if you don't have a place for the leftover wires, insulate them and tape them to the loom.
