throwing around ideas on a '69
hey man i'm a big 69-70 fastback fan and i say modify it to a SMALL degree like the two back up lights, put a little bit bigger spoiler on it, stuff like that but gosh dang it don't chop a perfectly good mustnag, no matter how bad things look, just take the body to a certain extent and STOP, now i like performance goodies, hehehehehe like say a borg warner T-10 and a hurst v-gate 4-speed inline shifter, my present to myself this year hehehehehe, or a new set of heads and matching intake and carb or a new set of billit rotating goodies (whoooooo i think i just started a chubby), or perhaps *gulps* a super/turbo charger, or how about some suspension goodies like global west stuff or rod and custom stuff, brembo big brake kits, anyways it's all up to u, but i say it needs to go before it can show
Eight tail lights? Looks...uh...interesting. Seriously, it is your car to do with as you please but as a former 69 owner myself, back before it was a classic, I would rather see you put her back on the road looking like a 69.
69 is an exceptional year for the Mustang. If you want something that looks agressive and bad A, lower the crap out of it and tub the rear to put in some steam roller slicks. That'll be way easier, keep the look of the 69, and be super agressive.
