hood hinges

Default hood hinges

im gonne be putting my engine in soon which means my cars gonna be put back together soon. are there any good after market hood hinges that arnt to expensive. ive seen the $700 ones from mustangsplus but are there any other ones? or is there any alternatives? like a sort of modern setup with shocks.

Virginia mustang has some that look like the originals. They are 27 dollars a piece. Then you have to pay 6 ea. for the springs and then 2.50 ea. for the bolts.

Johns mustang has the same thing. Except the 65-66 hinges are 25 ea. and the 67-70 are 28 ea. The springs are 6 ea. also. The bolts for a 65-66 is 11 for the whole thing and 65-68 (5 bolts) is 3 ea.

I bought all four hinges from Virginia mustang and they worked great.

well i dont really want the stock ones. i want some aftermarket/bullit ones but not the ones that are 700$. something kinda like this:

I believe mustangs unlimited has a pair for like 80 bucks lemme check tho

yea here we go or u could look at these ones ($140 tho) too



almost seems as tho it would be easier and cheaper to just buy the shocks and drill the holes. possibly creating a mounting bracket
