^ those are my GT40P heads, if you look they have 2 water passageways, one in the front and one in the rear...
^ and thats my intake manifold.. notice it only has water passages on the front and not the rear. i looekd up on summit and it lists the 7121 as the manifold that fits the 97+ exploder
should it be like this? almost any intake i see doesnt have rear passageways - am i ok or is there something more specific i need?
When im right the water goes from the front of the Cylinderbank under the heads to the rear of the block, then thrue the head to the front. Take alook to your gasket, ithink it has only a coolant opening in the back.
It's fine like that, mine is the same way. Yes, the coolant still circulates up from the block forward through the heads and out the front of the intake.
The heads are like that so they will work on either side of the engine. The intake on the other hand can only go on one way ad work right. It's fine the way it is.
