Default Steering box

so i got my steering box back together today, but apparently im missing something

what kind of seal is supposed to be in the end of the box where the worm gear shaft ends?

it looks like it needs some sort of plug or something but idk

Well you already got your steering box back together before me huh. Im still waiting for my rebuild kit i bought from superior mustangs.com been 4 weeks not customer service at all.
At the end of the worm gear inside the box where the cap pops off are you talking about that end? because there is a crown bearing that fits right into a raceat that end the other there is is another race and crown bearing

i got the crown bearings from napa and the needle bearings and pitman arm seal from allied bearing, and got my buddies dad to fix the threads on the steering wheel end

i guess i am missing that cap that pops off, you got any pics so i will know what to look for?

other than that and putting the pitman arm on im done rebuilding

to hell with spending 150 bucks to get these things rebuilt, im only 17 and i thought it was easy
