Default Valvetrain Help (Strike Force Heads)

Alright, so I bought a pair of Strike Force Heads last July and have ported and polished them so they should work real well.

The problem came when I was checking for pushrod length and noticed something that I am not sure how to fix. The rocker arm does not mate to the tip of the valve properly with the pushrod guide that is installed.

What does everyone think would be the correct way to fix the issue? Obviously I am not going to throw out the heads and start with another set.I tried moving the guideplate around a bit but it does not get much better.

It looks like the pushrod is not getting set straight with the guideplate.

1) Could I have the wrong guideplates? Does any have dimensions for the Ford guideplate?
2) Is using a self aligning rocker an option?
3) ???

Default RE: Valvetrain Help (Strike Force Heads)

The engine builder I bought the heads from confirmed a method I will be using to correct the issue. I will be cutting the guideplates in half, aligning the pushrods and valve train back up, then welding the plates back together. This way, the geometry is perfect for this particular install.

I guess no one else on this site has run into this problem.
