i originally had a c4 transmission and it went out so i went with a AOD transmission. when installing it. i ran into a problem of my crossmember wont fit. do i need to fabricate one or do they sell a crossmember for it online or maybe at a local autozone or something. please let me know.

You didn't mention the year model, so I guessed 67 from your signature. Anyway they also sell just the crossmember.

 

Pretty much any mustang part house sells the aod cross member shop around see wheres cheaper and if its in your state if so you pay sells tax on it.
