Default HELP - 1968 disc brake convertion

im looking to help my friend do a front brake conversion from drum to power disc . like i said he has a 1968 mustang big block with auto trans . i know there are new kitsonline and there quite expensive . what car can i take the complete brake system off to bolt-on (maybe get the parts remanufactured) ? from everyones experience what is the best way to do the conversion ? is there anything i should look out for ? all imput is welcome . thank you .

A lot of people use Ford Granada's, you will have to change the tie rodends as the taper is different. Also a new master cylindermay be needed.

I agree on the CSRP setup that kalli suggested. If your on a budget it really is the best way to go. I posted a link a while back... Here. This shows everything in that setup. I think its in the 525.00 range if I remember correctly and a lot of people here use it. Its basically a Granada front disk setup. There are other front disk brake upgrades however your now talking 700 to 1000 and higher. The Street Bandit conversion (~800.00) and the SSBC brake conversion (~1200.00) are 2 others that come to mind.The CSRP and SSBC packages are the most common I see here people doing.
