Nice! I dont even know if my steering is good or not. I am starting small to get it where I can drive it and enjoy it for right now.

good luck :-]
when you get a timing strobe opt for a model that is bright.
some cheap strobes you can only use in the dark ...
as well try to get a strobe where you can adjust the timing. a standard model where you can't will be good enough to set initial timing, but with a model where you can adjust the advance you can play around more (chekc on total advance etc) .... so if that's in your budget, get one of them.

Here is the one I bought from Sears:
Timing Light, Inductive Advance
Item #: 00921023000
http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00921023000P

I ordered it online. Saved me time in that traffic on the 5 from Arco Arena on down....

Also got a charger/tender and a feeler gauge set. I might replace the intake manifold gasket this weekend...we'll see how this goes first.

i don't know that strobe, but it sounds perfect for what you need.
you can set advance 0-60 and the inductive clips are great (you won't have to pull cables, you can just clamp it around #1 cylinder)
according to manufacturer: "Brilliant white flash easily visible even under direct sunlight."
so it seems to be a good tool for you

...and some chalk or 'white out' for the timing marks on the crank, eh?

You will soon know the wisdom of the Ancients when you can say you have set points!
