I put in a Pertronix Ignitor and Coil about 1,000 miles ago.

How do I test the Coil ?

Did a Google search. Based on that it looks like I have a bad coil.

Tested the coil using the Google research. Ohm meter read the coil was bad. Bought a new coil, got it home and tested it with the meter. Got the exact same readings as my old coil. Car will now run 10 minutes with the new coiland die but will restart and die again.

Time to whip out the plastic and pay someone to play with my baby.
