clutch pedal??

Default clutch pedal??

i have a 69 coupe it was originally a 3 speed but converted to automatic by the previsous owner i'm putting in a 5spd now the clutch pedal is already there but just flops back and forthi haven't looked uner the dash (its in storage right now) do i just need a some kind a spring?? also the whole clutch pedal and brake pedal woble back and forth is their a easy fix for that ??

There should be some linkage from the clutch pedal, through the firewall and then down to the bell housing. When it was converted they likely removed all this. I'm installing a 4-speed toploader and the only thing it didn't come with was this linkage. Decided to go with hydraulic rather than the mechanical linkage myself. Some good threads on this if your search a bit. The Shop Manual should show you how it was originally setup. I think there are rebuild kits available from the vendors to help repair the wobble issues.

the return spring is probably missing. If you are doing a cable set up you wont need it

Yeah it all depends on what type of clutch your installing. Check into that, then you will know what parts you need.
