I did, but i am not going to give up on this one. If i sell it now i will not get the money back that i have invested in it. I am at least going to finish the car from the tail to the firewall. I'll probably let the next owner replac the frame rails.
Like i said before, i have and still really enjoy working on this car. I like bringing something back from the grave.
The unique body was just too good of a deal to pass up. The work that has been done to the car is simply awesome. Upgrades that i would have never had time for even if i had purchased a nice car or new dynacorn body to begin with.

Since the shell was a donor car do you suppose any of the parts ended up on your new car before you got it. That would be kind of strange...like having the ghost of the shell in your new one.

I dont think the rustang was adonor carfor unique after seeing the last auction. Theywere definately restoring sometruerust buckets. My guess is that it was parted out a long, long time ago. Unique probably purchased it for a dollar from someone and had plans for it later on.

I keep noticing more and more holes that have been welded up on the unique body. I went to put the clutch rod bracket in place today and noticed that the holes were not there. I guess they use hydraulic clutches. In addition the battery tray mount holes have been welded up, rear shock holes, and a ton of holes in the firewall and cowl including the heater hose holes. Not sure what to do about that other than look at some completed unique cars and copy whatever they have.

Ok, so i managed to do a little more tonight
Radiator support installed and fender patch completed. one down, three to go Its nice having the unique body to take measurements off of.

+1.....and why do people put something on ebay with a reserve? Why not just set the starting bid at the minimum selling price? I guess I'm just too simpleminded.
