Humiliating Question - Where Does the Oil Go?
ORIGINAL: cprstreetmachines
well if it makes you feel better- your on the right track. And... look at all the people that looked at your thread without a reply?
pull the breather cap and install new oil there. Just make sure you have the drain plug in and the new filter on. Also always double check when putting on the new oil filter that the old O- ring rubber from the old oil filter is not stock on the block.

I wish someone would have given me this tip about a year ago... I spewed oil ALL over my street, and then had no idea what went wrong... I was really pissed when I figured it out. But hey, at least every time it rains I am reminded because water just runs right off the street.

Yeah, definately make sure the rubber o-ring from the old filter comes off, and put some oil on the new one so it doesn't tear going on.
And I lol'd at the number of people who looked at this thread without responding.
