im gonna be painting my car dark green and i want to know what the name/code is for when i go to buy it. and i also want to know where i can buy the paint.



what color is that and where can i buy it? and how much do i need to paint my car?

Sorry, but it's the only green I can think of. It's a really nice color though. It's something I've thought about for mine.

highland green is unique to Bullit from what I read, but looks a lot like the car you posted.

For 66 the paint code for green was R and it is called dark Green Metallic. If you look at the ditzer charts it will give you an idea of whether it is the color or not. I think ditzer is now part of PPG.

i found this website and its a list with a desciption of all sorts of bullitt clones. many said dark moss green, and many said dark highland green.

so im guessing theyre the same color but with 2 names. i might just have to go to a paint store and ask to see the difference. which reminds me, where would i buy the paint?

 

Dark Moss Green and Highland Green are not the same. DMG has an ever so slight yellowishtone to it and is not quite as dark and Highland Green. The original Bullitt was Highland Green btw.
