Any heating problems?
When I first got my 65, I had heating problems. Here is what I was seeing.
Highway: 170
Around Town: 190-210
Stop and Go: 210-225
Stop and Go with A/C: Fortget about it!!
I knew based on the above that it was all a matter of airflow through the radiator to wash the heat. I bolted on a 3" shroud from Summit. It's flexible so you can kind of put it wherever you want. This took about 30 minutes. I put on a 4 row radiator (should have gone with a two row aluminum. but oh well)
Result: I can't get the water hotter than 190 at idle without air. With air, it tops out at about 205 even sitting in traffic during the summer.
What a difference! 6 blade fan, 4 row radiator and shroud should solve anyone's cooling problems! Geterdun!

Ya know, I thought about an electric fan long and hard. But after a bunch of research, I decided against it. The reason most guys go that route is for HP savings. However, it takes more from your electrical system, ie. the alternator. But, if you are into racing these old guys, then definitely go that route, but upgrade the alternator. Just my 2c.
