Default Tranny/Engine help

hello. I have a 65 coupe with a 302 and i just put my transmission back in after putting new seals on it. I have all the bolts tight and the eingine doesnt want to turn over so that i can put all the nuts on the tc. Any suggestions? Also does anyone know what size the nuts are for the tc? Any thing would help...

'tc'? you, should be able to put a socket onto the balancer bolt to turn the motor over, so you can get to the rest of the bolts. im assuming thats what your asking..

the engine should turn over at about 30 to 50 foot pounds when turning by hand from the balancer bolt.

If you put your whole body weight on it I think something is jammed and could cause serious damage if you apply too much torque say from a high torque starter attempting to turn it over.
could be water or oil in the combustion chamber might try pulling the plugs and trying.

ok... would it be from the tc not being back all the way on the splines?
