Default a/c heater blower squeak

My blower motor squeaks. Its worse at the two lower speeds and usually disappears on high speed. Is it more likely to be the motor or the blower wheel. The squeak sometimes changes when I go around a corner, as if the "squirrel cage" is moving around on the motor shaft changing the sound of the squeak. Whats involved in replacing the motor and/or the blower wheel. I have factory air. I have managed to virtually eliminate all rattles and squeaks from my car and now this one is driving me nuts. Thanks

Most likely the motor bushing/bearing is dry. Regardless, the fan needs to come out to see what's going on. Usually the heater box and heater core has to be removed to get the fan out. If you have factory AC, it makes the job a whole lot harder cause the AC evap is in the same heater box area (as I recall) and this usually means the AC has to be unserviced to remove the R12 so the lines can come off so the box canbe pulled,etc.... this may be a job you want a AC pro to look at.
