Default brakes or suspension?

so... was driving my 66 coupe to work... got to the end of the block and pressed the brakes and i heard a clank clank clank (similar to the sound of a bad cvc joint on a fwd). i was not turning. pulled the wheel and drum off... no bad bushings... nothing wrong with the brakes... cant see any obvious problems

any help is greatly appreciated
