Any auto parts store will have a carb rebuild kit. Most Mustang Supply places, CJ's Pony Parts etc should have rebuilt carbs un stock. If you want a replacement I would try www.ponycarburetors.com. They offer a new style that they say is better than the original.

ORIGINAL: Eragon

Thanks for the t5 tip! I'll look into it. (newbie question but is that the only 5-Speed for mustangs?)

Is lowering the front easier than raising the back?

raising the back is the "old school" way of doing things, in theory you never want to raise the car because you will raise your center of gravity, by lowring the front you accomplish the same goal at jacking up the back (looking for that stance) plus you have increased handling,

your car probably needs new springs anyways, its something like 100-130 for the front and 100or 200 for the back.

btw you need to do something to th ebrakes whether its a power booster or disc swap. it has to happen sooner rather than later.

i have a 67 coupe with a 289 and a three speed manual(consider yourself lucky)
its my daily driver, and i DONT have a power booster or disc brakes, and i can tell you that it gets very scary out there. remember your not driving a modern car, these cars are not as capable as a new car which means you have to drive it as such.

my next upgrade will be a power booster. so i would consider that after your trans and carb

i dont mean to harp on one thing, but discs are expensive so you may want to start saving now. power boosters are only 200. so that may be a more viable option.
