finally got the thing started!

Default finally got the thing started!

well finally got it running. 2 ingition modules, 2 coils, new distributor, new wire from ign. switch to coil, and many headaches and it turns out the timing was screwed up. probably happend when the wires got wrapped around the moudle and ripped them out. i never even thought to check the timing! i am so happy its running again!!

nice. im still a long ways away to even think about when i get to start my car again[&o].

but i can dyno it as soon as i get a distributor

Sniff.. same here. Have the 289 sitting in the garage corner teasing me daily. Though the real tease is knowing I have a 351w with under 60K miles, complete and running for 200.00 bucks and I cant go get it. [:@] Waiting for an engine lift to be returned to a buddy as it was loaned out 2 weeks ago, hasn't been used since and the guy went away! [>:]

I'll have it hopefully sometime next week even if I have to go rent a lift. Still will not be in the car until next spring though.

YOu can buy a lift at Harbor Frieght for about 70 bucks
