Default Cowl reinstalled!!!

We finally got the cowl installed back into the car today! Forgot my camera this morning so didn't get any pics. Its been out since March and my April trip was spent mostly doing sheetmetal replacement. T-boxes and toe boards installation was made easier being able to reach in where the cowl should have been. Got the doors and fenders fitted this afternoon which went well except for some work needed where the new drivers quarter panel folds in around the door jam. Had to cut a few slits inside the jam to fold the upper and lower C lines in as they pointed quite a bit into the jam. Once this was done we were able to adjust the door back and get a good even line. The only real issue we have is that the 68 Shelby FG hood it about 3/16" to the drivers side. Some light pressure easily pushes it center but of course doesn't stay. Tried to space it over with washers but didn't help. I'm using new repro hinges as the originals were shot and I'm pretty sure the problem is with them. Could just file the 4 hinge holes to correct it if all else fails though I'd rather not.

Will finish the quarter/jam repair in the morning and then its up onto the rotisserie hopefully. Bit of welding and a lot of cleaning to do under there.

I was so happy to see it back in! Now I just need to cut/grind off all the weld spots tomorrow... [:@]
