Funny you should ask...I just ordered a new light switch today and hope to replace it this weekend.

Hoping it isn't hard to replace and reading how to replace it doesn't sound hard but have never tried it myself. I have had a new wiper switch that I haven't gotten around to putting in yet so will probably just replace them both at the same time.

Can't be any harder than the ignition cylinder I replaced a while back...or the new gas tank I put in last Friday for that matter.

As far as I've heard it's basically removing the trim ring, inserting a paperclip in a little hole or something and it pops/twists right out. I need to replace mine too, it only switches on the dome light half the time.

"inserting a paperclip in a little hole or something and it pops/twists right out."

That is the case for the ignition key cylinder but not sure about the light switch.

Mine started a few weeks ago with the gauge lights going out (no really officer I wasn't intentionally going over the limit, I just couldn't read the speedometer) and progressed from there to now my headlights go out at times, then flicker then work for a bit, etc.
