Default gauge cluster swap

I have a 65 coupe and i am in the process of swaping out my old gauge cluster with the 66 gauge cluster. I was wondering if anybody had trouble putting their new gauge cluster in? Mine wont fit... around the speedometer is where it is hitting.... Do i have to cut something or bend something??? Any info would be greatful

Thanks
Robert

Default RE: gauge cluster swap

i just put in auto meter gauges with the aftermarket gauge pod adapter thing and squeezed mine in without having to cut anything. It's a tight fit I just had to go in bottom first and pushed down onthe bezel a little.
